If road travel becomes too hazardous due to poor weather conditions or if the school experiences apower failure, school may be closed for the day. Listen to the radio in the morning before school for school closure announcements.
The transportation department will also have a recording pertaining to school closures. You can access this recording by calling the transportation department after 6:00 am. The phone number is (509) 493-1590. If school has to be closed mid-day, it will be announced on the radio. Unless otherwise specified, students will be sent home in their normal manner, by bus or by foot. Please call the school if special arrangements need to be made for your child. |
